SRD Rules Content
Tavern uses material from SRD 5.1 and SRD 5.2.1, © Wizards of the Coast LLC, where that material is available under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International license. Tavern adapts, summarizes, and reorganizes portions of that material; those changes are not endorsed by Wizards of the Coast.
Open5e Imports
Tavern can import open-license creature data from Open5e when a user chooses to run that import. Open5e content remains subject to the license terms and attribution published by Open5e and its contributors.
Dice Assets
Tavern uses open-source dice rendering packages and themes. Their copyrights and license terms remain with their authors.
Original Tavern Content
Tavern also includes original labels, summaries, conversion mappings, UI text, art direction, and homebrew-style catalog entries created for Tavern App. Those original Tavern materials are not SRD content.
Import Compatibility
Import tools may use third-party names internally to identify user-provided character choices and convert them into Tavern's catalog. Public Tavern catalogs and sheets should use SRD terms or Tavern's original labels and summaries instead of distributing non-SRD sourcebook text.
